Our rough and tumble cowboy is four! Birthday festivities included a tour of the Sauer-Beckmann farm near Fredericksburg. It was a real treat to our oldest three who fancy themselves to be Alex, Peter and Ruth from our family favorites Edwardian Farm, Wartime Farm, et al.
Today we enjoyed a perfect sunny day in historic Fredericksburg at the Admiral Nimitz Museum. Born on the 35th anniversary of D-Day myself, we decided it would be fun to spend the 71st anniversary honoring and learning more about a WWII hero from our neck of the woods—Admiral Chester Nimitz, a “German Texan” from the quaint and touristy town of Fredericksburg. Below are some of the day’s highlights.
This morning at 9:30am God graciously gifted to our family a new little member—a sweet little baby girl! We are grateful for the many prayers lifted up on our behalves and are pleased to introduce to you…
Praise God for the few righteous judges we have left:
An incredibly valid lesson for our time from Davey Crockett….
